Celebrating the work of students at the end of term was always great fun and hard work. This year we attended D&AD’s New Blood Show.

I was responsible for the printing of most of the work shown. This involved organising the students to submit final printable files to deadlines. I was also involved for the planning, organising, curating, building and hanging of the shows.

During my time working on the Visual Communication course, I have hosted technical sessions; both online and in person, covering both basic and more advanced sessions.

I also ran and assisted session on more traditional processes such as; Risograph Printing, Book Binding and other methods of printing and production. The core of the role focused around problem solving; both on behalf of stressed students but also encouraging and enabling them to solve the problem for themselves.
