Dr. OBT, a client of Pelham, who was launching a three item range and needed the labels and cartons designed. After a discovery call with him, it was clear he wanted a minimal and clean layout. After initial development, I presented a selection of options based on our conversation and agreed direction/moodboard.

Osman liked the combination of fonts of one of the presented options, as it kept a minimal design and layout but had visual elements to make the packs more eye catching on shelf was a priority. I suggested to the client the potential of using a spot gloss or solid black sides, to add visual interest. Due to pricing, we moved forwards with the black accent sides.

After conversations with the sales team/chemists, the Label Report and product details were finalised. This included the Product Name, Quantity of Product, PAO, Recycling Information, INCI, Directions for Use & Warnings and Statements. Which was then implemented into the designs.

Once the labels had been confirmed, next was the carton design. Translating the design from label to carton was fairly straightforward. Keeping the ratios and styling consistent. The biggest issue was the change of available area. This was handled through maintaining consistency where possible.
